Rafter and Tuber Responsibilities

Liability

When choosing a Utah Rafting, Kayaking, Tubing or other Outdoor Adventure for you and your group, be realistic about everyone’s abilities and be sure to ask questions of our staff prior to booking. Remember tubing is for strong swimmers and people in excellent health. Anyone in your group that has any medical conditions, physical limitations, or is seriously overweight should consult a physician before attempting a river trip. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that we perceive to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or deem unfit for a raft or tubing trip. Please limit any alcohol use while on rivers as cold water and an elevated alcohol blood level can be a dangerous combination. We also reserve the right to alter your scheduled trip.

Due to the inherent risks involved in rafting, tubing and other river activities, all participants are required to sign an assumption of risk/release of liability waiver. Although we are fully licensed and insured, your participation in river rafting and other outdoor activities is AT YOUR OWN RISK. High Country Adventure is not responsible for any lost items or damage to vehicles at our parking areas. Please use caution when entering our park and exiting onto the highway.

Reservation Policy

In most instances, full payment is required at the time of booking.

No Hassle Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the departure of the trip will receive a full refund. It is your responsibility to be at your trip’s designated office at the scheduled check-in time. There are no refunds for no shows and late arrivals. We will try our best to get you on the next shuttle if space is available. There are no exceptions to this policy so please remember to account for weather conditions, traffic, construction, etc.

Trip Change Policy

Any changes made to a trip departure time, date, or river section will be free of charge and will be subject to availability. We reserve the right to alter your scheduled trip.

Keep Rivers Pristine

Please help keep our rivers beautiful and healthy by securing and depositing all cans , trash etc in our recycling and trash bins at the take out. Remember no glass bottles of any kind and keep items safely tucked on boats preferably in small bags, backpacks or soft coolers with zippers.
